My local auto shop recommended Polar Bear after finding an A/C hose assembly they were unable to replace. Polar Bear was able to fabricate several custom hoses and do comprehensive overhaul of the entire A/C system in my 30-year old Dodge campervan. We just took it for a 3K-mile trip that included several 100+ degree days and the A/C worked like a charm! I would not hesitate to take my business to Polar Bear Auto: friendly, expert service at fair prices!

They answer the phone when you call. They are responsive to your scheduling needs. They are transparent with their operations and keep you informed. It took several weeks for me to find a time when I would have my Sprinter van in the area and they had no problem scheduling me in and looking at the problem. It turned out to be simple. They explained what they found, fixed the issue and thoroughly checked over the balance of that system for me. I can't ask for a better experience. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service from Polar Bear Auto Care! Professional, reliable, and honest from start to finish. I contacted them about an A/C issue and getting my van smogged, and they handled everything quickly with no delays. They got my work van repaired, smogged, and back on the road fast so I could get back to work the very next day. Highly appreciate the 5-star service and smooth experience — definitely recommend!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! They did a diagnostic on my A/C and I decided to have them fix the problems. All EXCEPT the cabin air filter. I changed that myself to save some money. They did not like that and left car in pieces and even broke some pieces. Two months later, the freon leaked out from a schrader valve, one they "replaced". I took it in because its still under warranty. They addressed that valve but now there's another leak. And it happens to be near the cabin air filter 🤔. That leak didnt show the first time they diagnosed it. Now magically it appeared the second time they worked on the vehicle, only two months later. They broke pieces before so I dont doubt they sabotaged my vehicle. Especially because they chose to give me all my money back so they wouldn't have to fix it or deal with me. Yes, I have my money back but the vehicle is worse that when it first rolled into their shop. They are friendly when your handing them your money but as soon as you exercise your warranty, they turn to rude people. I dont think they understand that we the customer are the reason they are in business. Avoid the headache and save your money, go somewhere else.

I went to Polar Bear because I was told by my car mechanic that my 1993 Honda’s air conditioner could not be repaired. Since the car has only 73000 miles on it I wanted to keep it, but I wanted air conditioning! I called Polar Bear and was told that they would be able to replace the air conditioner with the original type of fluid. They had my car for almost a week and completely repaired the air conditioner that no other auto service could fix. The price was high but worth it. Polar Bear is extremely knowledgeable about cars and very professional. The shop is clean and organized. The entire crew was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Polar Bear for all your car repair needs.
